Come enjoy a cozy and quiet stay directly on the Cape Fear River! Wake up to a fresh cup of coffee and head on down to the river via a private bridge and view the sunrise.  Spend the day riding the beach cruisers on the Cape Fear River Trail or explore downtown Fayetteville only 5-10 min away! The Cape Fear River trail will lead you to waterfalls, Clark Park Nature Center, walking trails, a train bridge, and wildlife! Centrally located to I-95 & 295, Methodist University, Fort Bragg, & downtown.

The cottage has everything you will need during your stay! The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. Starter pack of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash is provided as well as light snacks. High speed internet and free WIFI. A 50in Smart TV is available for use in the main sitting room (no cable) and is equipped with a Roku streaming remote. Couch converts into a bed if needed. Picnic tables outside for your enjoyment! The back deck has a propane grill for guests to use! Outdoor firepit is available for use right on the riverfront with plenty of extra seating. The private bridge will lead you to a wooden, 2 person swing overlooking the river, a swing set, and fire pit. The cottage is truly a hidden gem!

The cottage is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac amongst several other nearby cottages and is within walking distance to the Cape Fear River Trail. The neighborhood is surrounded by woods and the cottage backs up to the riverfront. You can take the bike trail to the right and find a waterfall, a wooden train bridge, and mountain bike trails. If you take the trail to the left, you will find a wetlands area, a wooden bridge, and Clark Park/Nature Center. It is not uncommon to see deer running through the neighborhood and into the woods.
